Abstract

This article suggests that occupational therapists use the medium of video as a visual record of baseline performance and or progress: as a means of analyzing performance problems: as a “dry run” for problem solving: and as a means for self-evaluation following role-play. Examples are given for using video as a “selected task” to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance.
