Abstract

This study examined age at Turner syndrome diagnosis as a factor in psychosocial difficulties. Women diagnosed after age 13 reported higher depression and more frequent substance use. Occupational therapy practitioners may use this research to monitor poor mental health and its behavioral manifestations in this population.
